Charles John Campbell began his insurance career in Calgary in 1912 as a partner in the firm of Graham Hamilton and Campbell. In 1930 he incorporated his own business which has continued to bear his name since that time, and through the decades the Campbell family has remained involved in the business. In 1986 Fred Weisse, who was a partner in the Calgary office, opened an Edmonton location with the purchase of a small agency. In 2001 the Edmonton office became independent of its Calgary affiliate. In 2004 Darin Oakford assumed management of the office and with Fred’s full retirement in 2010 Darin assumed the role of President. Two additions were made to the partnership team with Sandra Couturier becoming partner in 2014 and Chris Lewis becoming partner in 2018. With the sudden passing of Darin in 2023, Sandra assumed the role of President and continues that role to this day.
